'Enehana - Computer Science and Coding - Club
'Enehana - Computer Science and Coding - Club (or 'Enehana Club for short) is Punahou School's computer science and coding club, where everyone is welcome to join, regardless of their techspertise. I am one of the co-founders along with Josh Lee '22, Liam Hutchison '23, and Esther Chan '24. 'Enehana means technology in Hawaiian, and this would be a fitting name for our club so that we can connect with our home. Our goal is to create a safe and creative space for those interested in computer science to explore, discover, and develop various areas of interest.
Leading this club has become a part of me and something I love. I have developed my programming skills and a way to give back to my community, meet new friends, and teach others. In addition, it has expanded my passion for helping others learn different topics in computer science.
Major Club Work:
Teaching Others:
Name: About Me Repositories
Language(s): HTML, CSS, JS
Create a simple about me page and learn simple HTML and CSS.The leadership team works together to create slides and different teaching methods to help others learn topics in computer science, especially programming.
I created two different GitHub repositories for those who are more comfortable and less comfortable with learning simple web development.
See the repository for those less comfy here!

Name: Cookie Clicker
Language(s): HTML, CSS, JS
Create a simple cookie clicker to learn simple HTML, CSS, and JS.This is a follow-up from the About Me Repositories. After learning some simple HTML and CSS, the next step is to learn JavaScript, the scripting language of Web Development.
I put together a slideshow to learn the necessary components to put together the cookie clicker using a tutorial I created on GitHub.
